 Editor's word- "This is an article on Newa, an ethnic group of people who's origin is Kathmandu. Here in this article I am trying to share the history and myths of Newa origin in my own narration. This is based on what I heard from scholars, elders and debates. Furthermore, it is based on some mythological books I read and what and how it could possibly be the origin of Newa. KATHMANDU Kathmandu is the capital and largest city of Nepal. It bears a population of around 1.5 million at current. This city is also known as the city of temples.
